The Preached Word

The preached word of God is central to our Lord's Day Gathering. We believe that the Gospel of Christ alone has the power to save sinners and transform saints from one degree of glory to another.

"Preach the gospel, die, and be forgotten." - Count Zinzendorf

“I preached as never sure to preach again, and as a dying man to dying men.”- Richard Baxter,

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?... So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." - Romans 10

Right Hearts. Right Thoughts. Toward God

We are currently studying the book of Genesis.

Genesis is a vibrant and revolutionary narrative that brings the glorious light of God’s presence to the dull eyes and hard hearts of sinners. Genesis is not just the first book of the Pentateuch, Genesis is the first chapter in God’s grand story of glorious redemption through Jesus Christ His Son. This first chapter is filled with biblical theology that shows us God’s intention of redemption through Jesus was planned in the beginning. Genesis shows us that nothing can thwart God’s purpose and rule in His creation.

What is the Church of Christ?

What is absolutely necessary in Christ's Church? Often, dispensable practices and traditions can become indispensable. The local church beings to be defined by the dispensable rather than the indispensable.

What is the Church's ultimate identity? What is indispensable? The scriptures alone should be the foundation and form that the local church is built upon and built into.

The Church must not and cannot "Self-Indentify." For the Church belongs to Christ. They are founded in Christ's person and work. They are to form maturely into Christ who is their head. All glory be to Christ in His Church!

Like-Minded Fellowship

It is an important aspect of our church's health to share in deepening fellowship with like-minded churches and pastors. Essential to that is opening our pulpit to hear from them and our pastors preaching among them when requested. This deepens gospel partnership and affirms like-minded cooperation.

The Word of God

Once a month either Pastor Sean or another man brings us God's word. Pastor Sean and Keala are currently preaching through the book of Philippians.
